On September 9, PM Kawaharazuka visited PI Kobayashi at the National Institute of Informatics. PI Kurita from the same institute and research collaborator Shunki Itadera, Senior Researcher at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), also joined the discussion. The robot shown in the photo, Unitree G1, is an off-the-shelf research platform used for initial exploration and is deployed at each PI’s site.
The researchers discussed humanoid research and opportunities for future collaboration, strengthening connections among the research members.
